About Sean Patrick Riley

I write journalism, poetry, and non-fiction to galvanize myself and others to preserve what's good. At least on this plane, humanism is my religion. I love a good literal and metaphorical tailwind.​

I live where I was born: Seattle. I'm always at work on some creative endeavor, usually inspired by my wife, two children, and the students I am fortunate to teach.  ​My forthcoming article about cycling southern California will be out in Adventure Cycling in 2026. ​
